Terry Greenwood, Ed.D.
Educational Consultant
Dr. Greenwood is an Eastern Shore native who received his B.S. and Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland and his doctorate from Nova University in Florida. He has been a teacher, counselor, and school administrator. Dr. Greenwood was an administrator in Wicomico County schools and also served as Superintendent of Schools in Worcester County.
Rebecca A Grinath
Executive Director
Becky, a native of Salisbury, is retired from the Wicomico County public schools. She received her degree in English from Salisbury State University and has a Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate. She supervises the operation of Salisbury, Berlin, and Pocomoke centers.Her management responsibilities include assurance of quality instruction and academic growth. Student progress and achievement are reviewed regularly with parents.
Catherine Reinert
Director of Education
Cathy earned her degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Cabrini College. As Director of Education, Cathy supervises the testing and educational planning for all students to assure appropriate academic growth. Her responsibilities also include scheduling students and teachers for instruction and the training of instructors and assistants. Cathy is also certified to operate the Prometric Testing Center.
Rosalyn Patteson
Director of Education
Rosalyn earned a bachelors degree from Temple University and was initially hired as a math instructor at Sylvan. As Director of Education, Rosalyn is directly responsible for the Berlin and Pocomoke centers. In addition, her responsibilities include staff development, community service outreach, assessing students, and meeting with parents regarding student progress.
S. Arthur Maonde
Administrative Director
Arthur is responsible for day-to-day administrative matters, including marketing, information technology and the Prometric Testing Center. He is responsible for strategic and financial planning and is our liaison with corporate headquarters in Baltimore. Originally from Zambia, Arthur speaks five languages and brings a global background to Sylvan.
