Thomas R Jennings
Executive Director
Tom is the Franchise Owner of the Sylvan Learning Centers in Danville and Lynchburg. Tom is a graduate of the University of Virginia and was employed by various companies before he purchased his first Sylvan franchise in 1998. He and his wife have four children, who attend public schools in the Lynchburg area. Tom is Past-President of the Lynchburg Morning Rotary Club and is co-chair of his church’s Stewardship Committee.
Stephanie S Spissu
Center Director
Stephanie has a B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. She has 4 years of experience with Sylvan Learning as an instructor, SAT Prep Coordinator, Assessment Specialist and Associate Director for the Sylvan Math Programs. She is certified in the State of Georgia as a math teacher and has taught various Science courses in a public school system.
She is a Danville native, and graduated with honors from George Washington High School.
