What went wrong?
The installation configuration relies on an Internet connection through standard browsers. Standard browsers are Internet Explorer and Netscape. For AOL users using version 5 or later, select Internet Explorer as your browser type. For AOL users running version 6 or later, select Netscape as your browser type.
Accessing the Internet through a dial-up connection or cable connection, the download may take up to 5 minutes. The Internet connection must be maintained for the entire download time. If installation is interrupted or unsuccessful, you may start again by navigating to the Daily Learning Tips webpage and repeating the installation sequence of events.
The installation configuration is preset and predetermined. The application is configured to run from a personal computer desktop in the Windows operating system. You must have adequate disk space available to install the Daily Learning Tips application. The minimum disk space required is approximately 2.8 megabytes.
Where is the Daily Learning Tips application?

When correctly installed, a small Sylvan Learning Center® logo displays in the Task Bar. The Taskbar includes the Windows Start icon. The Sylvan Learning Center® logo should be blinking in the System tray where the time displays.
How do I know if the Daily Learning Tips application is working?
When correctly installed, a Sylvan Learning Center icon displays in the Task Bar. It has a blinking background to draw your attention to a new learning tip for that day. However, once you have viewed the tip of the day, the icon stops blinking. Clicking on the Sylvan Learning Center® icon will reopen the tip for that day.
Where is the Daily Learning Tips icon?
If the Daily Learning Tips icon does not display in the Task Bar, use Windows Explorer to navigate to C:/My Download Files or C://Desktop. Look for a file named Learning_Tip_Setup.exe.
